To keep your headpiece and/or earrings looking at their original condition, keep them stored in a cool dry place in the original box and please handle with care. 

Do not let your hairdresser spray hairspray anywhere near your headpiece, it will cause a film which will make your piece look dull, and it may oxidize & tarnish.
